NFL Week 16 Injuries: Colts' Michael Pittman demoted to outside; Texans' C.J. Stroud is still dealing with a concussion

There are only three weeks left in 2023 NFL The regular season and holiday slate this weekend includes several games that could shake up the playoff picture. The Ravens, Chiefs, Dolphins and Lions could clinch all of their divisions if the dominoes fall in their favor, while the Browns also have the potential to clinch a playoff spot this weekend. As is the case throughout every season, injuries are a major story this weekend.

With most of the injury reports in the league already in place, let's take the temperature on different injury situations. Below you will find the final injury reports for the teams playing on Saturday and Sunday.

Buffalo won't have one of its best defensive players this week, as Hyde was ruled out due to a sting. He was a limited participant in practices Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, the Bills could receive a boost with the return of Jones, who was limited all week with a pectoral injury. Epenesa, also listed as questionable, was limited all week with a rib injury.

The Chargers will be without two starters for their first game back after Brandon Staley, as Bosa and Allen will not take the field. Los Angeles too Team captain Sebastian Joseph Day was released on Friday.

It is doubtful that Moss will play although he has not trained all week, but Jonathan Taylor has no address and will play. Pittman is questionable to play with a shoulder injury. He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Friday and a full participant on Thursday.

Atlanta could be down a number of key players on the defensive side of the ball, as Dupree and Onyemata are questionable to play. Both were limited participants in practice on Friday.

(quad), playmaker Caleb Farley (back) out; OG Daniel Brunskill (ankle), C Aaron Brewer (ankle), QB Will Levis (ankle), TE Trevon Wesco (leg), TE Josh Whyle (knee), TE Chig Okonkwo (illness) are questionable.

Seattle could lose two prominent names in the secondary again this week, as Adams has been ruled out while Brown and Witherspoon are doubtful. Witherspoon did not practice all week due to his hip injury. As for Walker, he missed training on Wednesday and Thursday due to a shoulder injury, but returned on Friday as a limited participant. He's officially questionable to fit in.

Maybe the Giants should have just mentioned the guys who weren't injured, as their final injury report is uploaded. The biggest name on this list is Levis, who is doubtful to play after practicing just one day this week as a limited participant due to an ankle injury. If he can't suit up, Ryan Tannehill will take over under center.

CJGJ isn't ready to return to the field yet, but he was a limited participant in practices all week.

Mattison missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury, but returned as a limited participant on Friday. It is questionable to play. Hicks has been a full participant in practice all week with a shin injury, but is listed as questionable as well. As for Paes, he appeared on the injury report with a shoulder injury on Friday. It was limited, which is questionable.

Washington will be without two key players on the offensive line against New York, as Larsen and Leno have been ruled out after not practicing all week. Robinson won't be on the field for the second straight week either due to his hamstring injury.

It's Trevor Siemian under center for the Jets this week, with both Rodgers and Wilson ruled out.

  • Panthers:S Sam Franklin Jr. (quadriceps/back), TE Ian Thomas (ankle), LB Claudin Cherelus (knee) are questionable.

Green Bay will have to right the ship defensively without two starters in Campbell and Savage, who have already been ruled out. Alexander is also on the sidelines, as he was limited in action all week due to a shoulder injury. Musgrave isn't ready to return to the lineup yet after suffering a ruptured kidney earlier in the season. Watson has not practiced all week due to his hamstring injury and is doubtful to play.

Franklin was limited all week with quadriceps and back injuries, and is questionable to suit up. Thomas was limited Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury, but returned to full participant status on Friday. It's also questionable.

Bitonio missed practice earlier this week for the Browns, but was limited on Friday. It will be a game-time decision on Sunday.

There is no Stroud this week for the Texans, as he will miss his second straight game with a concussion, so Case Keenum will start. Collins was limited in practice all week, so it will be his decision come game time.

All of the Jaguars' questionable players were limited in practice on Friday. The big news surrounds Trevor Lawrence, who has cleared concussion protocol, according to NFL Media, and will travel to Tampa Bay with the team. Zee Jones also did not practice all week, but was limited on Friday.

Garrett will be a surprise inactive on Sunday for the Buccaneers, considering he was a full participant in practice all week. Winfield ended up on the injury report due to a calf injury he suffered in Friday's training, so his status is questionable.

Kyler Murray will play without Brown, who did not practice all week. Dortch is questionable after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a shoulder injury. It was limited Friday.

For Chicago, Jenkins, Sewell and St. Brown were all ruled out after not practicing this week. Kmit appeared in the injury report on Thursday with a quad injury. He's been limited the past two sessions, and is doubtful to play.

Hankins was the only Cowboy ruled out of the game with the Dolphins. Smith is doubtful to play due to a back injury after not practicing all week. Martin is questionable to play with a groin injury. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday.

Miami's final injury report wasn't as catastrophic as it could have been considering that not all of its offensive linemen were at practice on Wednesday. Aside from Hunt, who was ruled out, Jackson is the only player to earn a game from the position group, as he is questionable with an oblique injury. Hill is also doubtful to play, and was limited Thursday and Friday with an ankle injury. The same goes for Howard, who is dealing with a hip issue.

Peppers and Stevenson have been ruled out after missing training all week. Smith-Schuster was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but missed practice on Friday. It was also excluded. Every player listed as questionable for New England was a limited participant on Friday, with the exception of McDermott, who did not practice all week.

Bonitto and Dulcich did not train all week, while Palczewski was a full participant on Thursday and Friday. All three players were disqualified.

Star edge rusher Maxx Crosby did not practice for the second day due to a knee injury. Tight end Michael Mayer also missed practice Friday with a toe injury. Running back Josh Jacobs (quad/illness), center Andre James (ankle), offensive tackle Colton Miller (shoulder) and offensive guard Dylan Parham (illness) were limited participants.

Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones (illness), running back Jerick McKinnon (groin), wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip), offensive tackle Donovan Smith (neck) and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (personal) did not practice on Friday. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman (thumb) was a limited participant.

Tight end Lawrence Cager (groin), defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (hamstring), offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle) and defensive tackle Rakim Nunez-Roche (knee) did not practice Friday. Safety Xavier McKinney (illness), running back Matt Breida (hamstring), linebacker Carter Coughlin (neck), punter Jamie Gillan (left groin) and defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson were limited participants.

Ravens cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (concussion) and cornerback Arthur Maulet (knee) did not practice Friday.

For the 49ers, defensive end Arik Armistead (foot/knee), linebacker Orrin Burks (knee), tight end Ross Doyley (ankle) and wide receiver Jawan Jennings (concussion) did not practice Friday. Defensive lineman Javon Hargrave (hamstring), defensive end Clelin Ferrell (ankle), running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) and offensive guard Ben Bartsch (finger) were limited participants.
