Miller and the Phils may still see the season end this way, but there’s a lot to worry about after suffering a knee injury on Thursday.
Miller left Thursday’s game vs Detroit Lions injury. He was hit on the side by one of the Lions’ offensive linemen on a pass in the first half, then had his leg sprained as the play ended. Miller left for the locker room on a cart before halftime. He was quickly eliminated from the game, which was a bad sign.
Miller recruited free agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and Beckham was concerned about an injury.
Miller had eight sacks in the Bills’ first eight games. He signed a six-year, $120 million deal in the offseason to help the Bills into the playoffs. Miller was the 50th Super Bowl MVP with Denver Broncos Then he was a big part of the Rams’ Super Bowl push last season after a midseason deal.
The Bills will have nervous moments wondering how bad Miller’s injury is.
