The White House is in early discussions about Biden’s travel to Europe

The trip comes on the heels of visits by several top aides, including Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. The White House is exploring a potential stop in Poland as well as elsewhere in Europe, according to a person familiar with the planning.

A diplomatic source familiar with the planning told CNN that a possible trip is being discussed as NATO leaders may meet in person in Brussels as soon as next week for an extraordinary summit amid the Russian invasion.

After meeting with the Polish president, Harris said at a press conference alongside the foreign leader that the two countries “are united in what we have done and are ready to help Ukraine and the people of Ukraine.”
