The Pixel Fold display has been shown in the latest leak

The Google Pixel Fold is set to be unveiled in just over a week, and before the reveal, we’re getting more and more details about the company’s first foldable. Now, the official image of the Pixel Fold’s internal display gives us a great look at the wide screen and its thick bezels.

After two images of the Pixel Fold from the outside were leaked last night, Evan Blass (@evleaks) got a hold of it offered now Above is the first image of the interior of the Pixel Fold, showing the entire foldable display.

The detailed image is completely in line with previous leaks of the Fold, with the phone having a roomy interior screen compared to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series, but with bezels along the top and bottom that are somewhat thicker than most modern flagship phones. The bezels on the side feel a bit larger than foldable devices from Samsung and other brands, but not by much. And as we learned, the larger top bezel leaves room for the selfie camera to fit entirely inside the frame, eliminating the need for a selfie or camera cutout under the screen.

The inner screen’s wider aspect ratio looks very tablet-like based on this image, with this apparent press display showing six icons along the bottom dock with three widgets on screen at once – two 2 x 2 widgets and a 4 x widget 2. Home screen It seems For a roughly 8×4 layout, with space below for the Google Search widget and dock. Also notable is that there’s plenty of space on the side for the At a Glance widget, which usually takes up the entire top portion of the Pixel Launcher on other Google phones.

The Pixel Fold’s internal display is expected to be 7.6 inches at 2208 x 1840.

The Pixel Fold’s display also gives us a good look at the hardware around the hinge, with plastic parts similar to what Samsung uses to keep dust from getting under the screen and reinforce the area around the hinge. However, Google’s devices are slightly larger, which may contribute to the previously leaked “permanent hinge” marketing.

Google is set to unveil the Pixel Fold at Google I/O on May 10th alongside the Pixel Tablet and Pixel 7a. The foldable device is expected to be shipped to customers later in June.
