Shiloh Jolie has pushed her lawyer to drop Pitt’s title – while blaming her mother Angelina Jolie for exacerbating the rift between the teen and Brad.

Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh, hired and paid for her own attorney when she filed to drop Pitt’s name on her 18th birthday.

Family sources confirm that Shiloh, who turned 18 on May 27, was in the driver’s seat when it came to dropping the word “Pitt” from her nickname, Jolie-Pitt.

“Shiloh has hired her own lawyer and paid for him herself, so Angie doesn’t know and can’t speak on her behalf,” a source close to the matter said.

“But, if you’re asking if this is related to the history of abuse or the violation of the rights of Shiloh’s victims, then yes, that’s part of it.”

Shiloh Jolie, pictured in 2021, paid to change her surname from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, as her separation from her father, Brad Pitt, continues.

The documents needed to change Shiloh’s name were filed on Monday when she turned 18, the earliest she could do so independently.

The revelation, which Shiloh paid for herself, suggests that the ugly feud between former spouses Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie, 48, may still be lingering in the form of legal action from the six children the couple once shared.

There were suggestions in supermarket magazines last month that Shiloh was planning to move in with her father as soon as possible. Other stories suggested that movie star Pitt was “hoping” to reconcile with her now that she was an adult.

But in truth, there doesn’t seem to be any possibility of reconciling with his children after an infamous and disputed private jet standoff in 2016.

An FBI report on the incident published in 2022 found that Jolie accused Pitt of physical assault while traveling to California.

She accused her ex-husband of grabbing her by the head and shoulders and shaking her while she screamed “You belong to this family.”

Shiloh was photographed with her father, brothers Pax and Maddox, as well as Brad's parents Jen and William Pitt at the film's December 2014 premiere in Los Angeles.

The report also saw Brad being accused of hitting the roof of the plane four times, growling at his children, and pouring beer on Angelina.

Brad was also accused of attacking one of the couple’s children on the plane, but the LAPD later cleared him of any wrongdoing.

There were long custody battles that ultimately ended in a victory for Pitt, who was awarded 50-50 custody in 2021 before it was overturned on appeal.

The judge has stepped in to tell Angelina that she shouldn’t listen to his phone calls with the children. The judge also ordered “reunification therapy” for Pitt and the children.

The actor created a skate park at his home for Shiloh, and more recently an art studio to reflect their shared interest in art.

He sent cars and security to transport the children from her home to his when there was a designated daycare visit. Sadly, none of it brought them closer together.

In fact, son Pax said in a 2016 Instagram post that the four younger children — including Shiloh — were “trembling with fear in his presence.” The two older ones at that point were already refusing to see him.

The current situation has seen the children – Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and Knox and Vivienne, 15 – form a tight gang of seven with his ex-wife.

Last year, Jolie described them as “the closest people in my life, my best friends.” We had to heal. There are things we need to heal from.

While Shiloh has repeatedly walked red carpets with her famous actress mother, neither she nor her siblings have done the same for Brad. He’ll often say how proud he is of Shiloh — but the feeling is clearly not mutual.

“This is the result of parental alienation, and it is a great sadness in his life,” I was told. “It’s been years and years of Angelina telling and retelling the same lies about Brad and the truth is that she took the kids away, and the truth is that it upsets Brad.” He cares about them all. It’s devastating.

Being a father was very important to him. He can now start a family with his serious girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, who now lives with him. She is 31 and he is 60

Shiloh, the creative soul who has been going by the name John for several years, is a dance student. Speaking at the 2022 premiere of his film Bullet Train, Brad said of her achievements: “It brings a tear to the eye, yeah.” “I’m Mr. Left-Footed here.” Despite all this pride, despite years of nursery visits, there is only rejection.

Zahara, a student at Spelman College, Atlanta, no longer uses the name Pete. This spring Vivienne was working with Angelina in a musical called The Outsiders in New York and is credited simply as “Vivienne Jolie” on the show. Maddox and Pax openly hate their father, having not used the name Pitt for years. It seems to have been completely cut off.
