Safe Nebraska is among three other Huskies who entered the transfer gate on Friday

Gould, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound New Jersey native, played in one game while at Nebraska against Oklahoma, recording five snaps. He was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2022.

Grimes, the 6-3, 200-pound from Naples, Florida, has spent the past two seasons at Nebraska, but hasn’t appeared in a game. Grimes was a three-star candidate in the class of 2021.

Contreraz came to Nebraska as a walk-on after the 2019 season, where he spent kicking at Iowa Western Community College. Contreraz appeared in only one game out of his three seasons at Nebraska.

Contreraz has been the starting starter for the final four games of the 2021 season. He went 2 of 4 on field goal attempts and 11 of 11 on extra points.
