– On March 31, 2023, another attempt at a Russian offensive, called Winter-Spring, ended in failure. They were to move to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. And this is not the fifth failed attempt, Budanov was quoted as saying by the NV portal on Monday.

– Russia currently has no offensive capability to launch a strategic offensive operation. And it will not be in the near future, said the head of military intelligence of Ukraine.

“Russia has switched to a strategic defensive action,” he said, while halting the Ukrainian move to liberate the occupied territories.

He pointed out that the exceptions are two divisions where Russian forces are on the offensive, namely Pakmut and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.

On Monday, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that the enemy forces are concentrating their main efforts in offensive operations in five directions: Kuba, Lyman, Pakmuk, Avtiv and Margin.

In 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 50 attacks on these units. Pakmut and Marzinga were the main battle points.
