In 2012, 24 charges in such cases were submitted to military courts, compared to 110 ten years later, the portal reported.

Russia: Sex crimes among the military are on the rise

In 2022, the military courts of Primorsky Krai, Crimea annexed to Sevastopol, and Moscow and Rostov regions heard the largest number of cases. In these regions there are more than 20 military units that participated in the war against Ukraine.
