Oleksiy Chubashev died on June 10 at the age of 31. Mychaył Makaruk, a spokeswoman for InformNpalm Group, said on social media about his death.
“Today I lost a friend. Oleksi Subashev, author and presenter of the excellent media program supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A mega-positive and professional journalist. An officer … a man who trusted his work. I will always remember you. Laughing boy … and we will liberate your homeland in Saporisia “- wrote Makaruk.
Since 2015, Oleksi Subashev has worked in the Central Television and Radio Studio of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He was the creator and presenter of the military reality show Recruit.UA. Since the end of 2019, he has been the head of Media Studio, which includes Army FM broadcasting station and Ukraine’s military TV. Czubaszew is a soldier. In 2021, he fulfilled his contract and ended his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so he was transferred to reserve. When the war broke out, he decided to go back to the army.
“You grew up professionally outside the studio and I could have done a lot of useful things on TV. But on February 24 you chose a different path. You changed your camera for the gun and went to war. Then your son was born., You wrote to us. I asked if you could see the baby. “You did not have time,” his friend and journalist John Solotna wrote on Facebook.
The recording of Czubaszew’s photo was posted on social media with an explanation: “Do not forget! We will not forgive! We will take revenge!”.
