Madhuri Dixit’s mother used to scold her for not cleaning her room even after she became a movie star

While critical opinions about the series have been mixed, Madhuri’s performance has been praised. It’s clear that the magic he carved in the ’80s and ’90s is still very much alive.

Madhuri revealed in a recent interview, that although she is a big star, like her character, Anamika, the popularity and fame she has received have not affected her life negatively.

When asked if her stardom has affected her life, she told ETimes, “I’ll say in general, my life has been pretty good. I’ve never had to pay any high price for fame because that’s how I dealt with fame. For me, fame is It’s just a byproduct of what I do. Every day in the morning I’m excited to face the camera. I’m playing this character today. That’s what excites me. Everything that happens to me is in my peripheral vision.”

In the show, Anamika’s mother appears as a controlling character, using her to her own advantage. Among the many atrocities committed against her is the marriage of Anamika to someone she considers her “brother”.

Indian Express Film critic Shubra Gupta gave the film a mixed review. She wrote, “The temptation to light Madhuri Dixit up to make her glow like a goddess is irresistible. But she’s such a good actress that all that display of perfection on screen shouldn’t matter; here she is constrained by the cliched way she’s written.”
