Jonathan Majors will no longer play Dennis Rodman in the tentatively titled film 48 hours in vegas. Additionally, Lionsgate is no longer involved in the project, Deadline confirmed, which was released to its producers, Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Aditya Sood. If the project is shopped around again, we understand it will be with another actor playing the Chicago Bulls power forward.
The screenplay, written by Jordan Vandina, follows Rodman's fun trip to Las Vegas in the midst of the 1998 NBA Finals.

Following the guilty verdict, Majors was also dropped by Marvel Studios; The actor has played the villainous Kang the Conqueror in the Disney+ series Loki And in the movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Obsession. The character was scheduled to appear in future MCU films, including 2026 Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
