Here's what's coming to Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando

The Super Nintendo World area opening at Universal Studios in Orlando next year will include all the attractions from the theme parks in Hollywood and Japan — including the first Donkey Kong Country world in the United States. That depends Universal's latest teaser for its fourth park in Orlando, Epic Universe, which provides some clarity on what guests can expect on opening day in 2025.

Universal Orlando will also host the first edition Yoshi's Adventure Journey Out in Japan, a family-focused interactive experience that combines disposable Yoshi-themed vehicles with a treasure hunt for glowing eggs. Other interactive attractions called “Master Challenges” will also be deployed around the Nintendo-themed land. These mini-game challenges give guests digital keys that can be used to play Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown, where Universal says you'll “fight to get the Golden Mushroom back from Bowser Jr.”

Mario-Themed food will be available for purchase through the Toadstool Café. The menu isn't available to browse yet, but it looks like the offerings will be Similar to what Toad actually cooks In Hollywood Park. In typical theme park tradition, character meet-and-greets can be held throughout the day to take selfies with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad.

Super Nintendo World is technically one land with two regions. Donkey Kong Country – separated from Super Mario Land by a distinctive green “tubular” tunnel – is described as having a “more tropical vibe”. Universal didn't provide any additional details about what attractions this section of the park will contain besides the flagship Mine-Cart Madness ride, but says it will share more details “in the coming months.”
