James Harden will re-sign with Philadelphia 76ers On a two-year deal with a player option in the second season, according to sun shrnia. Given his age (33 in August), many have speculated that Harden is no longer guaranteed a significant contract.

The 76ers are hoping Harden can avoid that downturn a little longer. With Tucker and House joining a squad that already had MVP nominee Joel Embiid, superstar Therese Maxi and current Max player Tobias Harris, a healthy Harden can still make the playoffs. The 76ers have a shortened title window in front of them. Harden’s deal helps them maximize it.
