Maksym Kuzminov, a 28-year-old Russian Mi-8 helicopter pilot, surrendered to Ukrainians on August 23 after landing at a Ukrainian airbase. It was later revealed that Ukrainian intelligence was involved in a special operation to bring Russian intelligence from the Kursk region of Russia to Kharkiv province in Ukraine.
