The cause of the accident may have been the pilot’s intentional action

“The plane did what someone in the cockpit said,” someone familiar with the initial assessment of U.S. officials, who had no full evidence, was quoted in the press. He recalls that while the Boeing 737-800 was flying at high altitude it suddenly started to descend almost vertically and fell down.

“The Chinese Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC), staff and air traffic controllers did not signal anything unusual before the plane landed,” the WSJ said.

The China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 was flying from Kunming to Guangzhou when it crashed near the city of Wujo in Guangxi province.. The plane was carrying 123 passengers and nine crew. They all died.
