2022 3M Open Leaderboard: Live updates, full coverage, and golf scores in Saturday’s third round

Scott Percy leads the way after the first two rounds of the 3M Open, but some interesting narratives are starting to unfold at the TPC Twin Cities as the weekend awaits. Percy took advantage of the heater on the Greens this week which is unlikely to last until the end of the championship. If it does, it will be one of the best throwing shows of the year.

If not, there are a handful of ball strikers ready to pounce on Percy, undoing his lead with six strikes on everyone on the field other than his namesake Emiliano Grillo (three defense) and Callum Tarin (five defence). Tony Finau is among the group of six behind, and is a candidate to rise as the most talented golfer on the field and as one of the best ball strikers on the weekend leaderboard.

TPC Twin Cities played decently hard for the first few days of play and seemed to be a bit stronger than usual, which combined with a bit of wind was a challenge for a lot of players (Friday’s cut ended). Hopefully that continues as the leaders are knocking heads on Saturday for the right to race to the finish line on Sunday in the first three-week extended race to the FedEx Cup qualifiers on the PGA Tour.

Keep it closed here because CBS Sports will be following it all with live updates and analysis throughout the third round of the 3M Open.
