Another victim of Sabine and Christopher was David L. According to investigators, the teenager was beaten and kicked in the head. He then stabbed him in the chest. His body was found in the apartment.

This is not the first heinous act of a couple linked to the drug world. Sabine and Christopher killed another person in the spring of 2020. The victim in the Cologne crime was identified as 21-year-old Sabrina H. of Black Forest. The modus operandi of the criminals was almost identical.

The couple were to meet the victim at the flat they rented jointly. Soon the horror began. Sabrina needs to ask permission to use the restroom or shower. If she stays in the bathroom too long, she has to lick the floor as punishment.
Sabine and Christopher hit her on the back with a rope, knocking her almost unconscious and kicking her several times. There were injuries on his body, but no one alerted the doctor.
As if this was not enough, the couple decided to reveal their achievements. In April 2020, they sent photos of the frightened and injured woman to her friend via the Internet. He immediately alerted the police, who released Sabrina on April 28.
The 21-year-old was rushed to hospital but could not be saved. He died of acute kidney failure and pneumonia, followed by multiple organ failure. The young woman died on July 6, 2020.
Prosecutors charged the couple with assault and manslaughter. However, no arrest warrant was issued. According to a spokesman for the Cologne District Court, there is no basis for this.
So the couple went to the next town without any hindrance. In Essen, Sabine and Christopher stayed at the apartment of the second victim, David L. He was imprisoned and tortured until his death on July 22, 2021.
Had Sabine and Christopher been arrested in April 2020 after the first offence, the deaths could have been prevented. “I don’t understand why pre-trial detention was not ordered here. After all, arrest warrants are issued even for minor crimes,” said the attorney for Deputy Attorney General Dominic Peterite.
Sabrina’s friend Elena finds it difficult to understand that the pair of killers have not been punished nearly three years after Sabrina’s death. “It’s shocking. Why is the Judiciary not acting fast? At least David L. can still be alive,” he insists.
