Google has confirmed the Pixel Fold, its first foldable smartphone, with video teasers on both YouTube and Twitter. The company was going to unveil the Pixel Fold, but the leaks ruined that surprise. The device has a vertical hinge that folds into a 7.6-inch tablet-like screen. There is also an external screen measuring 5.8 inches.

Rumor has it that the price could be around $1,700, which would fetch a much higher premium than Google’s flagship Pixels. However, I could be convinced — if the foldable device can deliver a rumored 24-hour battery life. Expect to hear everything you need to make a decision on May 10, which is next Wednesday.
