Meghan, Duchess of Sussex signs with WME for representation

(CNN) MeganThe Duchess of Sussex has signed an acting deal with a global entertainment agency WMEThe agency confirmed Friday.

“(WME) will focus on building its commercial ventures across multiple facets of the agency and its broader ecosystem, including film and television productions, brand partnerships and more,” the agency shared in a statement. Social mediaShe added that she was “honored” to represent her “in all fields”.

News of the agreement was first reported in an exclusive by diverse Thursday. The outlet also reported that Meghan’s WME cast will include Dwayne Johnson’s actor, Brad Slater. Serena Williams’ agent Jill Smaller; and Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, WME’s global sports and entertainment unit.

Variety reports that WME will also represent Prince Harry and Meghan Archewell’s company.

Through Archewell Productions – which falls under the Archewell umbrella – Sussexes a Multi-year production deal With streaming giant Netflix. In December 2022, they are releasing two documentary series: “Harry and Megan“Six citizens offer their perspective on their lives in the British royal family; and”Live to leadthat interviewed leaders in their fields.

Archewell Audio similarly contains a partnership with Spotify, and released “Originals”, an original podcast series, on the platform.
