On the occasion of another major merger in the acting world, sources tell Deadline so anonymous content Exclusive negotiations are underway to acquire a management and production company Big Show/Automatic. The two companies have had discussions about a possible merger going back to the spring, with nothing serious at all emerging, but talks have intensified over the past two weeks and sources close to the situation say they are now exclusive.
Representatives of the two companies declined to comment on the talks.
Grandview/Automatik has been seen as a popular potential acquisition for some time as the company founded in 2014 has grown from a convenience store to a major player in the management and production world. Insiders say that even after early discussions began in the spring with Anonymous, Grandview is still open to other offers as it has decided what is best for the company. In recent weeks, Anonymous Content’s acquisition of the company has ultimately been the best way forward for Grandview/Automatik.
Grandview has 20 directors working with more than 500 clients including Joe Kosinski, Ryan Condal, Justin Simien, Dan Trachtenberg, Hiro Murai, Molly Smith Metzler, Olivia Cooke and Adam Wingard.
