Amazon, Apple and Alphabet report as temperatures rise in the season

CNBC’s Jim Kramer told investors Friday that stocks are likely to continue to perform well as long as the economy holds.

“A lot of companies have closed the doors, so to speak, and braced for a recession. So if we don’t see a sharp slowdown, they will really continue to fly,” he said.

Monday: Logitech

  • Q2 2023 earnings release at 9 PM ET; Conference call Tuesday 8:30 a.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 85 cents
  • Expected revenue: $1.2 billion

Kramer said the stock could be hurt by the slowdown in the PC market.

Tuesday: Halliburton, Coca-Cola, Alphabet, Microsoft

Halliburton

  • Q3 2022 earnings announcement at 6:45 a.m. ET; Conference call at 9 a.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 56 cents
  • Expected revenue: $5.34 billion

He expected Halliburton’s shares to rise after it announced its earnings.

coca cola

  • Q3 2022 earnings announcement at 6:55 a.m. ET; Conference call at 8:30 a.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 64 cents
  • Expected revenue: $10.52 billion

Cramer said he expects a quarter of the company to be strong, similar to PepsiCo‘s.

the alphabet

  • Announcing Q3 2022 earnings at 4 PM ET; Conference call at 5 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: $1.27
  • Expected revenue: $71.08 billion

And expect Google’s parent company to report a strong quarter given the strength of YouTube.

Microsoft

  • 2023 Q1 earnings release at 4:05 p.m. ET; Conference call at 5:30 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: $2.31
  • Expected revenue: $49.66 billion

Cramer said he expects the stock to jump after the company’s reports.

Wednesday: Mita, Ford

  • Q3 2022 earnings release at 4:05 PM ET; Conference call at 5 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: $1.90
  • Expected revenue: $27.47 billion

He called himself “the only believer” of the parent company of Facebook.

stronghold

  • Q3 2022 earnings release at 4:05 PM ET; Conference call at 5 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 27 cents
  • Expected revenue is $37.46 billion

Kramer said that while there is demand for Ford cars, supply is not.

Thursday: Apple, Amazon

  • Announcement of fourth-quarter 2022 earnings at 4:30 p.m. ET; Conference call at 5 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: $1.27
  • Expected revenue: $88.79 billion

Cramer said he sticks to his mantra of “own it, don’t trade it” when it comes to Apple.

Amazon

  • Announcing Q3 2022 earnings at 4 PM ET; Conference call at 5:30 p.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 22 cents
  • Expected revenue: $127.49 billion

Cramer said he loves the company, especially since its cloud work looks good.

Friday: Colgate Palmolive

  • Announcing Q3 2022 earnings at 7 a.m. ET; Conference call at 8:30 a.m. ET
  • Expected EPS: 73 cents
  • Expected revenue of $4.47 billion

He said there are better FMCG offerings than Colgate.
