The Jennifer Hudson Show will start in Fall 2022

Warner Bros. announced. (Owned by the parent company of CNN) on Wednesday that the Oscar- and Grammy-winning artist Jennifer Hudson He will run a talk show broadcast on Fox TV stations.

“I’ve experienced a lot in my life; I’ve seen the highs, the lows, and just about everything in between but as my mom always told me, ‘Once you think you’ve seen it all,’ Hudson said in a statement.

“People from all over the world have been part of my journey since the beginning – twenty years ago – and I am so ready to join their journey as we sit and talk about the things that inspire and move us all,” Hudson added. “I’ve always loved people and can’t wait to connect on a deeper level and let the audience see the different sides of who I am, a human, in return. And I couldn’t be happier doing it alongside such an amazing team. We’re about to have a lot of fun and shaken up. things a little!”

Hudson first rose to fame as a contestant on “American Idol” before releasing multiple albums and starring in 2006’s “Dream Girls,” a big-screen adaptation of the Tony-acclaimed Broadway musical.

Hudson won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for this role.

She suffered great tragedy after her mother, brother and nephew were murdered by her estranged sister-in-law in 2008.

Hudson recently starred as Aretha Franklin in the movie “respect.”

The hour-long talk show will begin in the fall.
