Victory Day Celebrations in Pictures

Sri Lanka celebrated her victory over terrorism with a grand Victory Day parade at the Galle Face Green today (June 3). Armed Forces ceremonially paraded before His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

The event was organized by the Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry as the national celebration to salute the armed forces for historic victory over terrorism that ended with the defeat of the LTTE after three decades.
